Molding Process (Genesis Series Cabinets)
Through the all new patent pending “Geoforming” molding process,
Cal Spas is able to mold the spa’s shell and cabinet from a
single sheet of acrylic, creating a seamless, smooth exterior
that is highly durable and provides lasting beauty. Until now,
no spa maker has been able to mold the entirety of a spa’s
exterior from one sheet of acrylic.
This breakthrough is an effective way to manufacture price point
hot tubs from a single acrylic sheet and it results in a
designer alternative to the rotomolded hot tubs that are most
often made of polyethylene, a plastic most commonly known for
its use in the manufacture of items like garbage cans and milk
bottles.
